Which Antsy Pants™ is right for you?
Antsy Pants™ were fully redesigned for 2015. If you have a child in full-time diapers, this is most likely
the Antsy Pants™ you will be building your stash with. Antsy Pants™ in the current styling are
finished in two variations; with attached absorbent core in the AIO configuration, or with the optional
snap-in absorbent core, making it into a cover+absorbent core AI2 combination. First the general details about the
current Antsy Pants™ design:

|
Overview:
|
This
current Antsy Pants™ styling has all of the same functionality as the Original Antsy Pants™, but there
is no pocket. The absorbent core, now made from highly-absorbent viscose bamboo and cotton materials,
is contoured and shaped to fit close to your child's body and is suspended from the inside of the waist
elastic. This way, night inserts sit under the absorbent core for night use and prepping for the wash
is as easy as flipping the core to the outside of the waist. The side-opening snaps are now hidden
inside of the pant. |

The current Antsy Pants™ design comes finished in two different ways to suit your prefered diapering style; AIO
with standard attached Absorbent Cores, or AI2 with optional Snap-In Absorbent Cores. Effectively, adding the
optional snaps allows you to remove the absorbent core from your Antsy Pants™, since otherwise that would not be
possible. Before you build your Antsy Pants™ stash, you need to choose the best configuration for the way you will
use your Antsy Pants™.
Choose AIO with Standard Attached Absorbent Cores If...
|
Choose AI2 with Optional Snap-In Absorbent Cores If...
|
...You want the convenience of quick, easy AIO changes. |
...You want the AI2 flexibility of changing any cover to be a swim diaper, to use as a
pull-up cover with prefolds, or change to a performance wicking insert for overnight diapering
(coming soon). |
...You can skip chlorine bleach in the wash and keep your Antsy Pants™ clean using a
good detergent, enzyme wash booster and the occasional odor remover. |
...You want to deep clean your diaper "guts" with chlorine bleach without fear of
destroying the waterproof covers by washing the two parts separately. |
...You want your Antsy Pants™ absorbent cores just to stay put. |
...You want a complete Antsy Pants™ Pull-Up Cloth Diaper stash for the lowest possible
startup cost, by airing and reusing covers. |
Depending on your preferences above, here is what a typical wash-every-other-day
stash might look like for a toddler in full-time diapers:

6 Snap-In Absorbent Cores for changing the core in aired out covers between
washes. |
The AIO Stash is super simple at changing time. Just remove and toss the diaper into
your wetbag or diaper pail until time to wash. Scrape solids from BM diapers. |
The AI2 Stash requires more hands-on time with the diapers between changes, removing
the wet core, wiping the inside of the cover or rinsing if necessary and hanging it to air dry
before the next use. Scrape solids from BM diapers. Throw wet cores and BM diapers into your wetbag
or diaper pail until time to wash. |
The convenience of AIO changes comes at a bit of a price premium, since you will need
more diapers for the same wash interval when you always change the whole diaper. |
The flexibility of reusing covers can easily save you 10% on your overall investment and gives
you the option of stocking up on extra snap-in absorbent cores for special purposes later.
Also keep in mind that you can use Antsy Pants™ with snap-in absorbent cores as AIOs too, just
replace the extra snap-in absorbent cores with complete Antsy Pants™ Pull-Up Cloth Diapers with the
optional snap-in absorbent cores.

Antsy Pants™ Original Styling
|
Overview: |
Most Antsy Pants™ made in the original styling have a synthetic lining with performance wicking
materials in the wetting zone to move moisture into the absorbent layers and away from your child's
skin. This styling has a side-opening pocket where the night insert could be positioned, and the
whole pant was flipped inside-out for washing.
Antsy Pants Naturals™ incorporated the viscose bamboo and cotton velour from the 2015-Present
Antsy Pants™ style into the body of the Original Antsy Pants™.
